Access Statement

Location

Riverwalk is centrally located in Aberaeron. If approaching from the south, Riverwalk is located up a quiet street which is the first right turn after the bridge (water street). The cottage is facing you at the end of the street. The cottage is  white with black windowsills and lintels. Aberaeron's shops, cafes and restaurants are within easy, level walking distance of the cottage.

Parking

Public parking is normally available outside the front door ( on street).

Access into the house

The front door is accessed via three steps which form a part of the pavement. The main door opens directly into the lounge diner, there are two steps into the kitchen which also leads into the bathroom. A door from the kitchen leads into a small open storage area on the left. Access to the enclosed patio area is through stable door in the bathroom. Please note that the doorway to the ground floor bedroom and the kitchen are too narrow for wheelchair access.

Facilities

The  lounge diner and ground floor bedroom are all on one level. The kitchen has a range of base cupboards, fridge with freezer drawer and free standing electric cooker. The walls and units are white and the worktops are dark brown.

The spacious lounge has ample natural light. Additional task lights are provided. The television is operated by remote control, freeview is provided.

The large ground floor bedroom has a double bed which can be accessed from both sides. The first floor is an open gallery which has a double bed one end and two singles the other end which may be divided with  privacy screens, all beds are accessible from both sides.

There is a ground floor bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and shower, wet room style.

Pets are welcome but must be agreed on booking and have their own beds etc.

Public transport

Public transport is available within 200m of the house - bus service north and south.

Mobile phone networks

Aberaeron is serviced by most mobile networks.

We would request any prospective guest who is planning to visit the cottage to make us aware of any mobility issues at the time of the enquiry so we may be sure to correctly advise them in order to avoid any disappointment.
